The challenge
Give website teams a practical way to configure visitor consent and understand which cookies and trackers a site sets, without splitting those tasks across disconnected tools.
The approach
TrustCookie combines a customizable consent banner and preference flow with Google Consent Mode v2 signals. An automated browser scan inspects cookies and trackers, categorizes findings, and presents them in a report and product dashboard.
Technical scope
The product includes a Next.js and React web application, a FastAPI service, and a Python and Playwright scanner for cookie and tracker discovery. It supports consent-state handling, Google Consent Mode v2 integration, scan findings, and dashboard reporting. These are product capabilities, not a guarantee of legal compliance.
Outcome
The result is a SaaS workflow that brings consent configuration, consent signals, automated site inspection, and scan reporting into one product experience.
